Apple-Dumplings



*Ingredients

°2 Granny Smith apple
°150 ml  golden brown sugar
°125 ml  granulated sugar
°10 ml) vanilla
°180 ml (12 tbsp) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
°15 ml (1 tbsp.) ground cinnamon
°5 ml (1 tsp) ground ginger
°5 eggs
°250 ml (1 cup) milk
°125 ml (1/2 cup) Original Bisquick™ mix
°6 croissants, torn to small pieces

*Methods

Preheat oven 175°C (350°F). Spraying 33 * 23 cm (13 x 9 in) baking dish with cook spray. Put aside.

In a 25-cm (10-inch) skillet, sauté the apples in the sugar until tender and the sugar is caramelized. Add the vanilla and mix. Remove from fire.

While the apples cook, mix the butter with the cinnamon and ginger in a small bowl.

In a large bowl, beat eggs and milk. Add Bisquick® mix and butter mixture and beat with a whisk. Add crescent pieces; let them soak while the apples cook.

When the apples are ready, add the apple mixture to the croissants that are soaking. Stir to mix. Pour into the baking dish.

Bake for 45 minutes. Serve hot.
