Apple fritters easy recipe

 Soft apple donuts with fall flavors and so good with a cup of coffee, a very easy recipe with no downtime for a quick snack.

Impossible to miss these donuts without wanting to help yourself, the smell of cinnamon mixed with apples is mesmerizing, too bad the donuts the next day are not as good, like all fried donuts you will tell me !!.

The dough obtained is more liquid than a classic donut dough, the apple slices will be dipped in the dough before being placed in a hot oil bath


Good to know:

While cooking, drizzle the donuts with oil so that they puff.
Turn the donuts halfway through cooking.
After cooking, drain the donuts and coat them while still hot with the sugar and cinnamon mixture.

How to make cinnamon apple donuts:

  1. Start by beating together the milk and the eggs in a bowl.
  2. Pour the milk into a bowl and add the egg.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour with the salt. Add the baking powder.
  4. Gradually add the flour to the bowl while whisking.
  5. Peel and core the apples before cutting them into rounds of about 3 mm.
  6. Heat the frying oil and dip the apple slices in the mixture, making sure to cover them well with the batter.
  7. Carefully place the donuts in the hot oil and fry on both sides.
  8. Drain the donuts before rolling them in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  9. Serve immediately because they are much better hot.

Ingredients :

  • 120 g flour
  • 100 ml milk
  • 3 tsp cinnamon or to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/2 sachet of baking powder
  • 2 apples

Instructions :

  1. whisk the milk and egg in a bowl.
  2. Mix the flour, cinnamon and salt and add the baking powder.
  3. Gradually incorporate the flour into the milk and egg.
  4. Core and peel the apples, cut them into 3 mm rounds.
  5. Heat the frying oil. Dip the apple slices in the preparation then in the frying oil.
  6. Place in the frying pan and cook on both sides.
  7. Drain and roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
