A wonderful flavor that is festive to the palate with its poppy filling and that makes you eat it with its soft dough is with you. Good luck to those who will try.
ingredients :
- 1 cup of warm milk
- 1 cup of warm water
- 1 teacup of oil
- 1 egg white (outside the yolk)
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet of dry or fresh yeast
- 5 and a half 6 glasses of flour (please add controlled)
- Ingredients for the interior;
- 200 g poppy
- 1 teacup of oil
Preparation:
First, we put the liquid ingredients and add the yeast and wait for 10 minutes for the yeast to become active.
While the dough is fermenting, we take the poppy in a suitable container, add oil on it, crush the poppy open, mix it until it gets a nice consistency.
When the dough becomes active, we pour the flour slowly, collect the dough and leave it to ferment.
Sprinkle flour under the dough, put it on the counter and divide it into 4 equal parts.
We make all of them round and set aside, starting with the dough we made in the first round, we open the dough in a square with the help of a rolling pin.
We apply poppy to the edges of the dough that we have opened and spread it all over the dough.
We wrap it in a roll from the longest part and smooth the edges.
Cut into 3 finger widths and place on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
Cover the tray with a clean cloth and leave it for about half an hour - 45 minutes for the tray yeast.
The dough gets better as it rests.
After the tray is yeast, we open it and slowly apply egg yolk, be careful not to press it so that the yeast dough does not deflate.
We bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
After it is cooked, we cover it with a cloth again and leave it to cool.
