Roll cake recipe with silky cream

Roll cake recipe, is one of the legendary tastes that no one can say no to, it is a wonderful taste with its soft sponge cake and silky cream. It will make your, mouth-watering from its great flavour.

Ingredients:

For the pastry cream

  • 500 ml of milk
  • 2 fingers missing granulated sugar from 1 glass of water
  • 1 packet of vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • to add later
  • 1 box of cream

Cake Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teacup granulated sugar
  • 1 teacup flour
  • Half a teacup of starch
  • 1 packet of vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of hot water

              • Powdered sugar

              Preparation:

              1. First of all, for the sponge cake, beat the egg whites until they are white, then add sugar to the yolks in another bowl and run the mixer at medium speed. 
              2. Add flour, starch, vanilla, baking powder, salt and hot water in order and continue to beat with the mixer. 
              3. Slowly add the egg whites that you have frothed to the mixture and mix them with light movements without deflating from bottom to top. 
              4. Then, line the baking tray with greaseproof paper and spread the sponge cake mortar evenly. 
              5. Bake for 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 160°C, turn it upside down on another greaseproof paper and roll it while it is hot. 
              6. While the cake, which is rolled up in the form of a roll, is waiting to cool and take shape, cook egg yolk, milk, flour, starch and granulated sugar in a saucepan, stirring constantly, for pastry cream. Remove the cooked cream from the stove, add the vanilla while it is hot and let it cool.
              7.  After it cools down well, add the whipped cream and transfer it to the piping bag after whisking with the mixer.

              Open the cake wrapped in rolls, apply the pastry cream on it, then place the bananas on the end. Wrap it in rolls again and take it to the refrigerator to rest, optionally sprinkle with icing sugar. Bon appetit...
