Stuffed Vine Leaves With Rice Recipes

  • 4 large onions
  • 1.5 teaspoons of oil
  • Half a bunch of parsley
  • Half a bunch of fresh mint
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • Salt

For internal mortar;

  • 1 glass of water
  • For cooking;
  • Just enough water to come over the windings
  • Liquid oil
  • Lemon

Preparation:

First, separate the leaves from their stems, then add water to a deep pot and bring it to a boil.
Add fresh leaves to the boiling water.
Turn the leaves over when they change color.
Then put it in the strainer and wait for it to drain.
Finely chop the onions and fry them in oil.
Add the tomato paste to the fried onions.
Then add the spices, salt and rice and fry it.
After all of them are roasted, add the parsley and mint, add 1 glass of water at the end, mix, after the water is absorbed, close the lid of the pot and let it rest for half an hour so that the rice swells.
Place the leaf on a flat surface with the shiny side down.
Put about a teaspoon of the inner mortar on it.
Wrap tightly by folding the edges inward and place in the pan.
Fill the entire pot.
Place lemon slices on the wraps and add enough water to reach it, close the lid and cook for 1 hour on the lowest heat.
Add the liquid oil and boil for another 5 minutes, remove from the stove and let it rest.

Note: Baking is very important in wrapping. After placing the wraps in the pot, add boiling water until they reach the last layer and cook for 1 hour on the lowest heat. Pour the oil on it 5 minutes before you take it from the stove. This process will make your wraps shine and stay alive.
